42.6 kWh attery Energy Storage

Wiluna, Western Australia

Janurary 2024

Completed in January 2024, this solar energy installation on Lake Way Road in Wiluna, Western Australia, represents a significant step forward in advancing regional energy resilience and sustainability. Delivered by our experienced off-grid and remote energy team, the project was designed to provide stable, low-emission power in a location traditionally reliant on diesel generation. The system comprises a 26.56 kWh photovoltaic (PV) array paired with 42.6 kWh of battery energy storage, ensuring efficient load management, peak shaving, and enhanced energy autonomy for the site, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering operating costs over time.

It showcases how innovative design and quality installation can bring cleaner, more reliable energy to remote regions while supporting long-term environmental goals. This installation not only contributes to Western Australia’s broader renewable energy transition but also sets a precedent for future energy projects in similarly isolated areas. Through this initiative, our team continues to support sustainable development and energy security across WA’s regional and Indigenous communities.
