Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm

The Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm has been family run and owned since 1946, with some of the most beautiful and rare pearls around the world. Working together, the farm now generates over 1500kW of power per day by harnessing the use of the sun. This cutting edge project now produces about 75% of the power needed to run the farm, cutting down CO2 emissions down by 528 tons in the first year alone. This system enhances the guests experiences allowing consistent energy to the site and reduce noise pollution in the area. This project also improves the overall goals of the farm for environmental sustainability and reaching net-zero.
